北京协和医院基本外科主任医师、教授、博士研究生导师。美国Mayo Clinic （梅奥诊所）以及UCLA（加州大学洛杉矶分校）访问学者。毕业于北京协和医学院8年制，获得医学博士学位。专业擅长：包括甲状腺外科（甲状腺癌以及复杂甲状腺相关疾病的外科诊治），胃肠外科；腹腔镜微创外科。在国内外杂志发表学术专业论文近70余篇，SCI文章影响因子总分将近400分，参与编写及翻译专著3部。主持国自然及北自然课题各一项。获得三项国家发明专利。美国甲状腺学会会员、美国内分泌学会会员，美国外科医师学会会员，中国医药教育协会头颈肿瘤专业常务委员。热衷于医学科普工作，多次参加北京市以及北京协和医院的大众科普工作，在《健康报》、《大众医学》以及北京电视台等媒体上多次进行科普宣传工作，并且多次获得国家级，北京市以及北京协和医院的科普奖项。
